Sohan Halwa Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Half a cup of starch

  • Half a kilo of flour

  • One kilo of sugar

  • Small cardamom numbers six to seven

  • Water as required

  • Walnuts for one kilo of halwa

  • Two hundred and fifty grams is enough

  • Ghee 1.25 kg

Soak the starch and flour in water and leave it for two hours. But take special care not to get lumps in it. Put the flour and starch that have been mixed on the fire. Keep the firelight. When the mixture becomes thick while cooking, quickly removes the fire from the bottom, and when the pieces start to burst like a cloud, add it and mix it well. When it goes well and becomes one, take it down from the fire and divide it into four equal parts and then put one part in a pan and keep it on the stove and add ghee little by little after that when the halwa starts releasing ghee. Prepare the remaining part in this way. Now, look at the mixture, when the color of the mixture turns almond, then understand that the halwa is ready. At that time, mix the cleaned walnuts in it, put this mixture in a layer and freeze it in a pan. Just walnuts Sohan halwa is ready. Apart from being delicious, it makes the body strong. Garnish it. This Sohan Halwa is very tasty and does not spoil for a long time.
